Guangdong Geological Bureau

The Guangdong Geological Bureau was established in October 1956 and is directly affiliated to the provincial government.

The Geological Bureau is mainly engaged in geological surveys, mineral exploration, geological disaster prevention, engineering geological survey and construction.

According to the official website data of February 2018, the Geological Bureau has 11 functional departments and 1 provincial geological union, with 40 subordinate units and more than 16,000 cadres and workers.
